Elevate your Redis experience with Redis plugins for Grafana
This session explores how a Redis data source and application plugins enable users to connect to a Redis database and build dashboards in Grafana to observe Redis and application data.
On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Redis Labs kicked off RedisConf 2021. This year’s RedisConf featured more than 60 breakout sessions in various categories: Build with Redis, Operate Redis at Scale, and Redis Industry Solutions.
Mikhail Volkov presented his session “Elevate your Redis experience with Redis plugins for Grafana” as a part of Operate Redis at Scale. He talked about the Redis Data Source, and Redis Application plugins and demonstrated how to observe and interact with Redis and application data.
After the demonstration, Mikhail introduced one more plugin called Redis Explorer, which was recently added to the Grafana repository and downloaded more than 100 times.
The Redis Explorer plugin allows connecting to Redis Enterprise software clusters using REST API. It provides application pages to add Redis Data Sources for managed databases and dashboards to see cluster configuration. Look at the Quickstart page to get started with Redis plugins for Grafana.
